AI/ML Engineer Opportunity at AMD – SMTS Position in Bangalore Role and Responsibility:

• Responsible for the execution of AMD Diagnostics suites and/or Diagnostics test codes, which may include code development in object-oriented systems and/or test suite construction, testing, and debugging for production use.
• Take part in AMD’s next generation bring-up and enable diagnostics testing for production SLT (system level test) and ASIC qualifying suites.
• Work with Design, IP owners, Platforms, and Product Engineering to verify design functionality and performance, as well as production test and characterization requirements.
• Working collaboratively with internal and external AMD teams to debug diagnostics issues.
• Participate in the Automating Diagnostics Suite Release Process.
• Work on similar projects and/or assignments as needed to increase productivity and efficiency.

AI/ML Engineer Opportunity at AMD – SMTS Position in Bangalore Desired Skills & Experience:

• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and related AI frameworks.
• Practical experience in embedded systems software development on Linux platforms.
• A thorough understanding of machine learning techniques, neural networks, and model inference methods.
• Proficient at developing AI/ML kernels for hardware acceleration on GPUs, NPUs, and/or FPGAs.
• Experience with model compression techniques such as quantization, distillation, and pruning.
• Experience with performance analysis tools and optimization methodologies for diverse computing systems.
• A strong understanding of computer vision, voice/speech recognition, and LLMs (Large Language Models) for edge-AI inference.
• Exposure to open-source AI stacks and contributions to ML software groups are beneficial.
