This position is responsible for overseeing the technical components of project delivery for DGM’s customers. You will be responsible for designing, planning, integrating, testing, training, and commissioning hardware and software requirements for a client system in accordance with project specifications.

AspenTech Hiring Freshers: Associate Project Engineer Role in Bengaluru Role and Responsibility:

  • Understand project requirements through interactions with customers and internal stakeholders. Delegate work to other teams as needed.
  • Assess technical needs for projects, analyze hazards, and identify mitigation methods.
  • Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software requirements for customer systems.
  • Provide network and system/application design.
  • Install hardware, software, and systems, integrate them, and test factory functionalities for SCADA, HMI, and other associated functions.
  • Prepare project documentation and help create training materials as needed.
  • Document and monitor the progress of project operations, and report any technical difficulties.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and clients to identify project needs and transform them into system designs and technical blueprints.
  • Design, integrate, and deploy SCADA, HMI, and control system solutions in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Install and configure hardware and software for SCADA and industrial control systems.
  • Use communication protocols like IEC104, IEC101, DNP3, and ICCP to integrate remote terminal units (RTUs) and other field equipment with control centers.
  • Create and administer databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and generate reports with ODBC and SCADA tools.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including training manuals and user guides.

AspenTech Hiring Freshers: Associate Project Engineer Role in Bengaluru Education and Skills:

  • 0–2 years of expertise with SCADA systems for utilities.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, database construction, RTU integration with IEC104/IEC101/DNP3 protocols, and building ICCP protocol links between control centers.
  • Knowledge of configuring SCADA software packages, RDBMS databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, ODBC, and report generating.
  • Understanding of computer architecture, networking, databases, and operating systems.
  • Flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites (up to 20% travel).
  • The ability to work on many projects concurrently without affecting project quality.
