About the Role:
The graduate trainee engineer’s primary responsibilities include testing and quality assurance. As a member of the engineering and delivery team, you will create and execute test cases to guarantee that the generated product, platform, or solution performs as expected before being distributed to clients. The ultimate goal is to ensure that the product satisfies 100% quality requirements and has few flaws.
Key Responsibilities:
As a graduate trainee engineer at Wipro, you will be accountable for the following tasks:
Understanding requirements and developing test cases:
- Examine and assess business requirements carefully.

Defect Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and track software faults using appropriate information such as description, impact, and replication processes.
- Collaborate with developers to fix issues fast.
- Prepare and provide daily/weekly dashboards and reports to stakeholders to communicate test progress and status.
Customer Interaction and Documentation:
- Communicate openly with clients via emails, phone calls, and reports while adhering to professional business practices.
- Ensure the timely transmission of reports such as weekly status reports (WSRs), test execution summaries, and dashboards.
Performance Parameters:
Your performance in this capacity will be evaluated based on:
- The ability to create and execute error-free test cases.
- Compliance with service level agreements.
- Test processes were successfully automated using tools and macros.
- Quality of reporting and defect tracking.
- Tasks are completed on time and with few difficulties.
