As a Device Associate on the Quality Services (QS) team, your primary duty will be to assist with manual testing efforts for Amazon’s internal and customer-facing applications, devices, and services. This comprises analyzing and executing predefined test cases, assuring accuracy and timeliness, and reporting results and deviations.

Role and Responsibility:
- To ensure compatibility and performance, test programs on FireOS and equivalent devices.
- Set up manual testing procedures for devices and applications.
- Execute test cases for apps, services, and devices, covering both simple and complicated functionalities.
- Bugs, failures, and quality issues should be documented and reported using proper mechanisms.
- Monitor issue resolution, following set SLAs and escalation procedures.
- Follow standard operating procedures and test techniques set by the team.
Education and Skills:
- Graduate in any field of study
- Basic understanding of software manual testing concepts
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (ideally engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another quantitative field).
- Experience: 0-1 years in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar industry. Freshers with a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail are invited to apply.
- Technical Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of computer systems, software processes, and consumer electronics. Hands-on familiarity with smartphones, tablets, or similar devices is advantageous.
- Soft skills include effective communication, the ability to follow instructions, and the capacity to operate in a team-based, fast-paced setting. Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
